There have been many changes to wedding trends over the years. As time passes, people are getting more and more creative and looking for ways to make their special day unique. In 2018 we will undoubtedly see couples creating a more casual and fun experience!
Deep Hues
This year people are falling in love with deep, dramatic hues. Navy blue is a timeless color that has always had a strong effect and this year it will be making its mark in the wedding scene. Navy blue is becoming the neutral color in the wedding palette and is also being seen more on bridesmaids dresses and groomsman. Burgundy is becoming a go-to accent color among wedding palettes. It is a rich accent color that elegantly compliments the navy blue and creates some stunning results with minimal gold accents on wedding stationery
Food Fun
We’re seeing tons of creative food options for 2018. From roll-your-own sushi bars to food trucks, the possibilities are never-ending. Couples are opting out of traditional buffets and plated dinners to keep their receptions creative and unique.
Open Style Wedding Booths
Ditching the traditional photo booth, couples are now opting for open style wedding booths. Not only is it trendy, but it allows for more people to fit in the frame to capture even more memories. An open style booth consists of a backdrop with a camera set up, sans the traditional tiny booth. For a fun bonus set up a table with props next to the “booth” where your guests can get silly and make the photos fun.
Textural Elements
This year is all about incorporating textural elements into wedding stationery. Handmade papers, embossed letters, and foiled envelopes will be trending this year to compliment the deep-hued color palettes to create stationery that has a luxurious look and feel.
